These dollar amounts will be listed on the I-20 Certificate of Eligibility issued by LSU for F-1 student visa applicants, for those already in F-1 status in the United States, or for those who are in the U.S. in another visa category who plan to change their non-immigrant status to F-1 student.
NOTE: Tuition, fees and insurance are subject to change without notice. For information regarding the actual amount you will need to pay upon completing your course registration (after your arrival to LSU), please visit the Office of Budget and Planning’s Web site at http://www.bgtplan.lsu.edu/fees.htm.
If F-1 or J-1 students want to bring their husband, wife or children as F-2 or J-2 dependents, the student must provide proof of financial resources for their dependents’ support: $4,500 for spouse and/or each child per year in addition to the amount needed for the student.
